How about them Jackets. They'll be playing Washington tomorrow night for win #17. Quite an accomplishment!

Everytime I think about Columbus I go back to how STUPID the Flyers were to give up Bobrovsky.

Crazy run they're on. If they win tomorrow night I believe that would tie the all-time record..?

Who did they keep at the time?

Ilya Bryzgalov, who they used a compliance buyout on to buy up SEVEN years.

And the three picks they got from Columbus?

            2012 2nd - Anthony Stolarz (http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=144264)
            2012 4th - Taylor Leier (http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=145165)
2013 4th - Simon Gagné - they traded this pick to Los Angeles for Gagné. He played 27 games for them and scored 11 points.

9 year contract with 7 years remaining that they used a compliance buyout on to buy. Sorry, I ninja-edited my previous post after you had replied and I didn't notice.

The streak is over. It would have been awesome to see them try to beat the record against the Rangers, Tortorella's old team. Alas, they still have a lot to be proud of.

They should be very proud of what they accomplished. Hopefully they move on quickly from the bump they encountered last night..and pick it right back up. And good for Torts who's silencing all the haters. loll I don't usually like the guy per say but so far this season, I have nothing to say. Most of his media scrums are short and sweet...and professional....and the team is playing awesome.
