They're gonna need all the help they can get. Pretty much the franchise' only goal this year has to be not to finish last, or even in the bottom five. Imagine the humiliation of finishing dead last and then having to forfeit the first overall pick. I'm sure they won't be that bad though. Calgary is clearly worse. And maybe some of Florida, Buffalo, Philly, Columbus and Carolina.

Yeah I never knew why they didn't. Also Lou has been really over-rated since the lockout, it's been a long time since he's really done something special.

Agreed on all counts. Man, even when he traded for Schneider at the draft - everyone was acting like it was the smartest move ever made while it really wasn't even that big of a deal.

It was a fair deal for sure but definitely not a win for NJ. It might have been a loss for Vancouver but that's a different matter altogether.

Personally, I think Horvat will turn out to be the best all-round player to come out of this draft.
