I'll start this thread so I have it down in writing: Karlsson will win the Norris this year. I really believe he would have run away with it last year had he not gotten injured. His play was unreal. He's looking amazing and he's not even trying.

Karlsson will be a point a game player this season. If that translates to the Norris, so be it. If it doesn't he is still one of the best overall players in the league.

Subban, Weber, Chara, Pietrangelo, are traditional type of defense man where as Karlsson adds elite skill to the equation. I don't think Subban will be regarded as one of the best in the league.

My money is on Pietrangelo this year. He and Bouwmeester complement each other so well, they could potentially become the best D-pair in hockey this year. Also a likely pair for Team Canada this year. It kinda reminds me of the situation Keith was in his big breakout year.
