There could be a changing of the guard next season with which teams have what draft picks. British Monarchs with no picks between 3-5, for example.

Like I said in the previous thread, Hedman will be available in the off season. So, in two days.

Yeah if you're not top-3 next season you have to reevaluate your drafting. Lol

Some teams are going in with better keepers though..

With the draft picks you have compared to others, it doesn't matter. You should have way better depth and scoring from top to bottom.

Drafting is key, but I think free agency pickups and trading are more important. None of my defensemen were drafted by me this year (Phaneuf was a keeper, though) and they're the second highest scoring D plus they all offer more than just scoring (usually blocks + TOI)

I'm glad to be derailing the Saints' faint hopes of winning. :P even though I get no benefit, just another top 4 finish.

I think I'll be packaging some picks (3 probably) to move up higher than 6th round. Let me know if interested. Could also throw in players too, I have lots of keeper options this season.

Yeah, I really fucking lucked out when I grabbed Foligno and Klingberg off FA this season. I also got Monahan and Muzzin off FA who have been big for me this season.

On that note, Monahan is also flirting with keeper status, which would give me 9 players I'm considering keeping and only 7 I can keep. Moves are gonna be made...

The Silver Seven vs Spartans matchup is tied going into the final day of the season. As long as there's no late comeback by the Saints, tomorrow is a two dog race.

Spartans are five back. So, they'll need me to lose three of my current stats I have a lead in.

I'm 8 up on goals, 6 up on assists, 7 seconds up on ATOI, 19 up on shots, 8 up on hits and 3 up on defensive points.

The other way, I'm 43 back on face-off wins, 22 back on blocks, 2 wins back, 82 saves back, a shutout back and close to .0500SV% back.

I can't see myself hanging on for ATOI, hits will probably be close, too. Good luck, choi!

Just keep the Spartans away from the 2nd spot.

Spartans will need either three more defensive points or six more assists to win the championship
