Jamie Benn wins Art Ross

Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn used a late-season charge to win his first Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's leading scorer with 87 points, edging New York Islanders forward John Tavares by one point in the final seconds of the Stars' 4-1 win against the Nashville Predators on Saturday.

What a strange year for the Art Ross race. I'm definitely not a Jamie Benn fan, but congrats to him. I never considered him that much of a game-breaker, but I might have to chance my stance on him.

I thought it was a 3 way race between Ovechkin, Crosby and Tavares. Benn seemed to really come out of nowhere.
Might have been due to the low overall scoring of the league, i guess. Nonetheless, very impressive and congrats to him. Amazing that he got that last point with 10 seconds remaining.
