Great roster. Really cool to see David Savard getting the recognition he deserves. Pretty big call for Ekblad too.

Apparently Methot was asked but refused, to have a minor surgery.

I know Canada is usually terrible at this tournament, but they'll have to find a way to lose this time. This is the best roster they've sent in a very long time.

With 13 mins left to play in 2nd period, Canada is leading the Germans 6-0. Crosby, Hall (Eberle & Duchene) and Eakin(2 - unassisted on both)) scored in the 1st period. Hall (Duchene & Eberle) & Ekblad (Giroux & Wiercioch) have the goals in 2nd. 6 goals on 16 shots ..and the Germans do a goalie switch.

Just about 7 mins to play in 3rd, score is now 10-0. Ennis (Giroux & Hamhius) & Hall (Hattrick goal from Duchene & Muzzin) scored in the second half on the 2nd period. Duchene scores on a penalty shot in 3rd.

Canada was trailing Sweden 3-0 after the 1st period. Ekblad, Hall and Couturier scored in 2nd..then Sweden scored another before the end of 2nd. Wiercioch tied the game midway through the 3rd..Then Ennis got a PP goal..and Seguin an empty netter..

                          Final score 6-4

Good for Canada. Russia - Canada is a classic rivalry, and the best one in hockey, IMO.
