Probably. I still see the Capitals and Islanders as Playoff teams without Ovechkin and Tavares. Montreal on the other hand likely wouldn't be in the show without Price..

I dunno. I feel like the Islanders would have missed the playoffs without Tavares. I think it's safe to assume he was responsible for three Islanders' wins, and Ovechkin's 50-some goals were the difference in three wins for the Capitals.

I think the trophy is pretty much league MVP now, which is fine. I don't have him as the MVP, but he had a great season. No issues with him winning it.
