Hitchcock signs one year deal

Yeah but that is what he wants..one year at a time. He is very happy with that deal, and it looks like he is thinking about the team 1st by not handcoffing them long term, knowing he might not have that many more years to give to coaching.

Yeah, I don't really blame him for their playoff failures. It's a lot more than just the coach. Goaltending is a big factor, and their roster could use a shakeup.

Kind of surprised this was only a one-year deal.. I guess that they aren't happy with the Playoff record, but he's been money for them in the regular season.
