Rangers place Asham and Biron on waivers

According to NHL.com (http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=6866 ... l:topheads) the New York Rangers placed forward Arron Asham and goaltender Martin Biron on waivers. I can see both being picked up; Asham by Minnesota and Biron by Boston, Nashville, San Jose, or Vancouver.

Asham may be one of the only players who has played for all 5 (old) Atlantic division teams - Islanders, Rangers, Devils, Flyers and Penguins. I believe he also played for Montreal for a while?

They both cleared and were sent to Hartford, the Rangers' AHL affiliate.
