Sens trade Gryba to Edmonton

Gryba to Edmonton for Travis Ewanyk and #107 overall (C. Wolanin).

I like both of the player moves Murray has made this weekend. Not a huge fan of Gryba.

It's a good move. It frees up another $1.25M in cap space (Ottawa now has more than $11M space). Ewanyk is probably a career AHLer but Wolanin has solid potential as a two-way defenseman. He's a big guy too at 6'2" 183 lbs.

Wolanin, a defenseman, has 6 points through 6 games so far this season in the NCAA. He leads his team, the University of North Dakota.
