Predators centre Mike Ribeiro and his wife have settled a lawsuit in which their nanny accused the player of sexual assault. An arbitrator met July 6 for eight hours before settling the lawsuit. His report was entered Wednesday in the Eastern District of the U.S. District Court in Texas.
I wish I could believe that this was just a case of a nanny trying to get a bunch of money for nothing, but Ribeiro's got a history of behavioural issues that had already led me to question his character. Regardless, he did put together a better season than I expected him to.
