We can discuss the Sens training camp and pre-season games here

I missed both of the Toronto games, but saw some of the win over Buffalo last night.

Cowen looked pretty good last night, as did O'Connor. Dzingel had three points and Bryan Murray called Prince an "NHL player". At this point, it seems like the only real battle is between Prince and Puempel for the last forward spot..

Also, Chiasson looked pretty good out there. Not only did he score a nice goal, but he was pretty hard on the forecheck. Although I don't see him ever becoming a top six forward, he could become a decent third liner if he can figure it out.

I had so much hope for Chaisson after his rookie season. I'm hoping last year was a classic sophomore slump.

Chiasson has the tools to be what Michalek was in his prime. Maybe not the same quality hands but all of the strength and he has some speed too.

I'm hopeful he can get around 45 points this year.

I'm hopeful of ~30 points and cutting some of the penalties and laziness out of his game

Chiasson will bounce back. He has way too much talent not to. The only question is to what extent. I'm quite confident 20 goals and 40 points is well within his reach this year.

After loses to the Sabres and Hurricanes, the Sens are now 1-4 in pre-season games

Good. Every time they have a good preseason they have a terrible regular season :lmao:

                    Probably more realistic.

Mark Stone is ripping apart Montreal with a shorthanded goal and two assists so far through two periods. He's picking up where he left off last season.

Sens won 5-2, after being down 2-0. Goals by Ceci, Stone, Hoffman, MacArthur and Wiercioch. Anderson came up big with 39 saves. Bobby Ryan gave the Sens the 3 on 3 OT win.

And on a side note, the Ottawa Redblacks also destroyed the Montreal Alouettes to put salt in the wound. Not a great night for Montreal sports.

Seems like it was a great game. I missed it, but I'll be in a suite for tomorrow's game!

I couldn't watch but I listened. According to Gord & Dean, Pageau had an awesome game. Does he ever like to play Mtl..
