    Welcome to DEATHCEMBER Sens fans:

-Anderson slated to play 15 games in 30 days (Hammond's recovery "stalled")
-Cowen on the second pairing until further notice (PW off IR though)
    -Still no sign of MacArthur
-May have lost Z-bad and Michalek last night
-Colin fucking Greening waiting in the wings

    :faint2:

UPDATE: Dave Cameron confirms Michalek out long-term (per T1200)

Going to be a make it or break it month for sure. Games like the Philly ones are the ones you need to be winning.

Philly last night and NJ on the 30th are the only trap games of the 15 in 30. Every other game (13) is either against a playoff team or a division rival.

Of those 26 potential points, how many do people realistically expect Ottawa to take? I'd be thrilled with 16-18 but I expect something closer to 13-15.

Expectations are tough to manage with this team. They really come out to play against the better teams but seem to let it slide against the weaker teams.

It's really frustrating. A few days ago they were 12-5-5 and looking like they did for the last half of last season. Now they've lost two winnable games and are back in the dogfight. I was hoping this year they would be able to lock up a playoff position with a few games to go in the season and fight for home ice.

Thanks for the info. Better he sits out than make things worse.

Agreed. I really feel like we need to move for a top flight LD to play with Ceci or find chemistry with Karlsson.

Didn't see the game, but did see the hit. No need for a hit like that in the game.
