Damn - a sad day in hockey, for sure.

It seems like a ton of legends, whether it's musicians, actors, or athletes, have died in 2016 so far. Let's hope the rest of 2016 goes a lot better.

The universe needed to make room for all the new legends being born this year.

A positive way to look at it, I guess

Now, a female YouTube star and The Voice contestant who was an up-and-coming star was shot dead after a show in her hometown. Her name is Christina Grimmie and she was only 22 years old.

Off the top of my head, I can't remember a (half) year with so many impactful deaths, at least since I've been alive. Off the top of my head: David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Prince, Muhammad Ali, Kimbo Slice, and now Christina Grimmie (and I'm sure I'm forgetting some). Plus, with all of the bombings and terrorist attacks, it's becoming quite crazy.
