The Sens will be holding a press conference today at 2:30 PM to announce something significant.

Could it be a new arena? An outdoor game? Jersey #11 retirement ceremony?

I bought tickets to this game from a STH for super cheap about a month ago. I bet they regret selling them to me now lol.

Does anyone know when single game tickets go on sale? Would love to be in the building for this!

I think we should try to make this a forum event. I know Jasmine wants tickets for sure, I bet Owen does, and it looks like Sara will be there. I'll get a thread up for it..

Let's try to get some of the gang together for a very fitting ceremony of the Senators' greatest legend, Daniel Alfredsson!

It can be nosebleed seats for all I care, I just want to be in attendance for this. As many forum members who can also be there, the better. If we start planning now, we might be able to grab enough seats together as soon as single-game tickets are available.

Sara - what level are your tickets in?

              WHO'S IN?

200s I think? I'll get back to you on that. My boyfriend has them.

According to the Sens' twitter tickets to this game won't be available for single game purchase. I think in order to get access to tickets for this game without going the resale route you have to purchase some sort of multi game ticket package or be a season ticket holder. And I thought the Leafs were crazy. Are ticket sales this bad in Ottawa that they're forcing fans to buy ticket packages now?

If what you said in the other thread about single-game tickets not being available is true, then this won't happen :( I mean, we could all meet up at a bar to watch the ceremony and game, and you could come by after, but then I don't see people making a big deal of it if it's not actually to be there live. Matt, for example, would probably have a hard time justifying making the trip just to watch a game at a bar.

What crazy luck! You'll either be able to make a small fortune off those tickets or have an amazing experience :)

Hm, if it actually is possible to get tickets, I might just be able to go... maybe.

That's a lot of ifs though.

I imagine you won't be able to purchase a single game ticket for this game. Think about it ... the demand for this game will be through the roof, and will surely exceed the supply. The Sens would be stupid not to make you purchase at least a three game pack to see this game when they're able to capitalize on this. This game will help fill the arena on the Tuesday night February game against Carolina.

Yeah, it's official - the game will only be available to half or full season ticket holders.

I mean, I get why they would do this, but it still seems greasy. Mostly I'm just bummed that I can't go.

I think we might look at selling them and going to a different game. I'll see what he wants to do

Humm ok, I don't get it. They really expect to sell all 20k + tickets in packages only??? Really? Wow, that is low....
