    According to Dregger, a few teams were interested in his services, including the Sens....but Ottawa waited and the Idles didn't.

    Free agent defenceman Denis Seidenberg is expected to head to the Big Apple after the World Cup of Hockey. TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports the New York Islanders will sign the Team Europe defender on a one-year, $1 million deal.
