This is one of those deals that could go either way, in my opinion. Johnny Hockey's a great player, for sure, but this seems a bit much without a huge body of evidence. It could be a total steal, but then again.. with his size, you never know. The game certainly does seem to be trending towards skill and speed and away from "goonery", but that could change.

After his first two seasons, I'd say it's well-deserved. Hopefully he continues to get better, too. He's such an exciting player in the game and a breath of fresh air.
