As much as I think Ceci is struggling it's Phaneuf I'm worried about. It seems to be part of the new system to pinch up or "lock" on the left but he's not keeping up. A couple times already he gets focused on making a hit and not watching play develop. Then there's the temper. How on earth do you justify starting a fight DURING a Sens PP? What purpose does that serve the team?!

I think the goaltending will get back to the standard we've come to expect and the PP will click with time.
Not so sure about the current defense. What I'd like to see is:
Chabot-Karlsson
Phaneuf-Wideman
Methot-Ceci

Well Hammond won't start many games playing in this kind of form but I do think Anderson's looked solid so far. We also seem to have no problems scoring. It's the D that is going to be brutal all year.
I do agree that Methot with Ceci likely gives Ceci the free range he needs. Though it's a lot to ask of Chabot to stay home for Karlsson, as good as Karlsson himself is good at getting back.
And what, no Boro? :P lol
