I didn't get to see any of this game, but I did see that Ceci and Phaneuf's Corsi continues to not bode well at all.
Hopefully Boucher holds the players accountable. Ottawa fans are vocally tired of seeing the same results and no change. The 3-2 record is good, but let's build on that.

Even on a bad night like Saturday, this team was visibly better than last year. No shame in losing to a team like Tampa. the five on five hockey was more than watchable and I'm willing to be patient with the special teams.

Penalties continue to be a huge problem for the Sens. Both killing their own and scoring on their opponent's.
Craig Anderson had the best game of his short season on Saturday, even though the stat line doesn't back him up. Kelly's been phenomenal in his limited role. Also been very impressed with Wideman on the back end.
Ceci and Phaneuf...something needs to give there. It's almost like they're both trying to play the same role on that pair? They can't both be stepping up. Ceci makes great passes under no pressure but seems to wilt when there's urgency. Phaneuf's never been strong in that area himself. At times on Saturday did I see Karlsson with Phaneuf and Methot with Ceci? Or was I imagining things?
Another key, Ottawa (minus Karlsson) take an eternity to clear their own zone. Not every play can be "poke/slash/chip up the side boards and hope to get around the point guy". There's got to be other options?
