  • Montreal Canadiens @ Boston Bruins - October 22, 2016

On the NHL.com website there is a "free game" tag at the top of the game schedule ribbon. Does that mean we get to try NHL GameCentre HD for Free? I have never seen the NHL do anything for free so I don't know what to expect.

What I figure they mean by free, is all the announcers are busy doing other stuff so the game will be announcer free.

First time Bos/Mtl meet up this year. First time the world cup top liners play against Canada's backend. It was so strange to watch Marchand and Price hug. I doubt they we be best of friends tonight.

I hope it will be a close one, I like rivalry games, I like being on the edge of my seat watching back and forth plays. I also like when Montreal defeats Boston. Rask as a really bad record vs Montreal.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that for at least 6 players this will be their first time playing the Montreal Boston rivalry. I wonder how they take it. I am a bit worried for some of the younger guys like Sergachev and Lehkonen but am super excited for what Radulov, Shaw and Webber bring to the table.

    Thoughts? Predictions? GG!

I think that's what it means but I'm not sure because in the past I haven't seemed to be able to get those "free games" to work.

Ohh yeah, I watched the whole game in HD on laptop, it was pretty awesome. Honestly they made me want to buy it... Good advertisement in my opinion.

Are the free games not subject to local blackouts then? I was the under the impression that Montreal games were not watchable via Game Centre in our area..
