Yeah, another head scratcher from the Isles here. Why on earth would you want to deal one of Halak or Greiss? How many "upgrades" are there at that position? And I'm not sure either one is suited to starting 60+ games at this point?Comment

Wow. Crazy. I was really starting to respect Snow as a GM again, but this entire situation looks pretty bad on him. Alan Walsh is still a thorny bastard, but unless Halak wanted out that badly (and it didn't appear that way), then Snow should have handled this differently.
Someone should jump on the opportunity, Halak is a good goalie. Why wouldn't they just expose him for the expansion draft instead?! They could have potentially lost him instead of whoever they'll lose now. I'm definitely not an NHL GM, there must be a lot more to this than I can even imagine, but it doesn't look good from here.Comment

He complains when he's a part of any team. Sometimes it's justified, sometimes not. He hasn't justified increasing playing time this year.
The extra year on his deal made him impossible to move. I don't think anyone claims him and he ends up in Vegas as 1B next year.Comment
