Pageau's in the minors? Lol I remember after that one playoff game this girl thought he was Ottawa's next superstar.

At 20, there's still time. He did what I thought Daugavins was going to do the year before in the playoffs.

Sending Pageau to the minors was the right thing to do.

He wasn't getting a proper chance in Ottawa. He's only shown he can play exclusively at centre, although I'm curious why MacLean didn't try him on the wing. He's obviously not replacing Spezza on the top line..that's a given. Same goes for Turris on the second line. The third line has been centred by Zack Smith for a while as it's a checking line and Pageau isn't a checker. He was playing fourth line duties of around three minutes per game with his line mates being Kassian and Condra. Keeping him up in Ottawa would be a waste because we could throw Grant in for those three minutes while having Pageau getting top line experience in Binghamton.

I still have high hopes for him. He just has the "it" factor. He looks like he's all over the ice when he's out there and his two-way play for his age is amazing. It's pretty awesome what he did in Game 3 against Montreal. An Ottawa-area player getting his chance in the big league, in his first playoff game against Montreal, and he puts up a hat trick and gets a chant dedicated to him. All at the age of 20. Plus, being French-Canadian makes it all the more sweet :D

Personally, I'd like to see Wideman given a decent chance before Ceci.
