Don't know if losing Galchenyuk and Deharrnais are going to have the same impact as losing Carey Price last year. Losing Elite Goalies for long periods of time seem to destroy teams.

won't be the same impact as losing the Hart, Vezina, Jennings and Ted Lindsay goaltender, but our center depth is Plekanec-Shaw-Mitchell-Flynn. That is just... bad. Don't care about Desharnais since he's pretty useless anyways, but McCarron and Hudon both aren't even healthy to step in right now.

Probably gonna have to make a move for Hanzal.

Shaw is decent, but Plekanec is on a downward spiral. I think you are correct they need to offer some young player for Hanzal who I think is available.

Shaw ...just be sure to have enough sticks... lol but yeah if the B's lose their vezina and Stanley Cup winning goalie we go down hill...except we seem to have perennial 20 and 30 goal scorers we even trade and dump superstar defenceman and wingmen for fun.

Impressive. How many teams could score 10 goals without their top two centremen? Heck, how many teams could score 10 goals?!

It helps that Pacioretty's broken foot is healed and Plekanec has suddenly realized he can also chip in offensively.

Habs just 6 points up...what happened to the machine... the B's and Sens tied those turds the leafs 4 games in hand on both of them... the REAL habs are about to show themselves... no-goal-scoring expect-your-goalie-to-save you bunch of overrated homers...it almost makes up for the cheap hit on Backes by buffalo now out for concussion ...and losing Liles.

Well, 8 points up for one. Secondly, I had no idea that teams slow down when they lose pieces like Galchenyuk, Markov, Shaw and Pateryn. Thank you for the infinite wisdom, though.

Its just funny that i use the same logic and wisdom most habs fans use when they were making parade route plans in november...and yes 163 IQ gives me a certain je ne sais quoi ...but most miss the forest for the trees...

Gallagher and Byron added to the injured list, Jesus Christ.

Byron.. we had a byron once... we had a subban too... in fact we even had a nilan . But montoya got picked up. So that is good while mariah carey gets his game back... us we cant give awa subban and khudobin cleared waivers...no one wants him either... our boy McIntyre plays goal just like price so in 2 yrs we should be alright... fuck 2yrs.. jeeeesus.. now the Knights can pluck players... fer fack..is markov protected?

Since Galchenyuk got injured which started the parade of injuries for Montreal (losing 7 regulars at once, including Chucky, Byron, Markov, Gallagher, Shaw, Desharnais and Pateryn):

9-4-4 record with 58 goals scored. That's with Danault, Mitchell, Plekanec and McCarron down the middle.

That depth stepping up huge. Danault was a genius pick up by Bergevin and it only took a washed up Fleischmann and returned-to-earth Weise.

Gotta admit, the Habs have something special going this year for sure.
