Ryan could be out 3-6 weeks
The Ottawa Senators will be without Bobby Ryan indefinitely after he took a shot off the hand against the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night. The 29-year-old is still being evaluated to determine if he sustained a broken right index finger. If it is broken, the team expects him to miss three-to-six weeks.

Also, the NHL definitely has to use technology to help the officiating more. Every time the Sens ask for a coach challenge review, and even last night, the call comes back as 'inconclusive'. Yesterday's tying goal was very likely in the net but we couldn't see for sure. This shouldn't be an issue in 2017

Agreed. In last night's case however, had the puck been visibly in, I have a feeling it would have been disallowed anyways. Pageau's pushing of the pad would have likely been ruled interference.

Winnipeg’s Jacob Trouba suspended two games for an illegal check to the head on Ottawa’s Mark Stone.

How have they not found a way around this yet is mindboggling. Like a chip in the puck and a sensor in the goal posts/cross bar/goal line...... If Fox TV could follow the puck on the ice 20 years ago, imagine in 2017.....
Hoffman, Stone and Wingels are all going to New Jersey. There might be hope
