I dont think so as regional coverage is not affected, contracts with Habs, Leafs and Jets are still good

13, I'm pretty sure that Rogers has rights to ALL NHL games for the next 12 years - as in, no more regional broadcasts at all because Sportsnet will have them carried nationally. So TSN Jets and TSN Habs will cease to exist.

The only thing they've really confirmed so far is that CBC will still have Hockey Night in Canada on Saturdays.

Wait, does that mean Center Ice will be able to show in-market games now??

Rogers also got the rights to Centre Ice, so if I had to guess, it should mean that there are NO blackouts.

There's also no more blackouts, so we're getting a shit ton of hockey games on TV with this new deal.

As it stands now, on Saturdays, unless there's an afternoon game CBC plays, I get 4 Saturday games. Sens broadcast on CBC, since I live in Ottawa, Leafs broadcast on every other channel, Habs on RDS and the 10pm game. With the new deal, there's 10 unique games to choose from on a Saturday night. Awesome.

Because of the broadcasting teams on those channels or because you don't have access to most of those channels?

If that's really how we can expect it to look, I am going to be a very happy viewer!
