  • Game 75 - Senators @ Flyers

Looks like Andy will start, Stalberg still out (as well as Methot of course), and Smith may be sick - to be replaced by Jokipakka if so (not sure why they take the extra D if Smith doesn't skate).

After crazy pressure by the Flyers, the Sens come back the other way and score. Turris from Ceci

Anderson has been awesome tonight, but his mistake just cost the Sens a goal. 2-2

It's unfortunate, but I think the Sens are pretty much locked up for 2nd in the Atlantic at this point.

I don't mind missing a date with the Rangers to be honest.

Toronto/Boston is probably a more ideal matchup, but we'll have to play a team of the Rangers' calibre eventually. I was rooting for 1st place because home ice through the first two rounds would be awesome.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the Rangers beat Montreal and we beat Toronto, wouldn't that mean the Sens are at home again v the Rangers round 2? Only Montreal would get home ice over us?

Yup. Unless a wildcard team plays another wildcard team, they can't get home ice in the playoffs.

I should have said guaranteed home ice in round two.
