Calgary Flames captain Mark Giordano caught Anaheim Ducks defenceman Cam Fowler with a knee-on-knee collision on Tuesday night, forcing Fowler to exit the game.
The collision, which occurred in the third period, left Fowler needing assistance to get off the ice as he avoided putting weight on his right leg and sparked what resulted in 106 minutes worth of penalties in the game's final 13 minutes.
