The team also announced the promotion of team legends Luc Robitaille to president and Rob Blake to VP and GM.

Hmmmm. Not sure this is the best set of moves for the Kings. In fact, I think this just about spells out a return to mediocrity for them. That said, I'm clearly not as knowledgeable about Blake and Robitaille's hockey ops resumes as the Kings' management team are. We'll see, but I see them going downhill from here.
