Ken Hitchcock was hired for his second stint as coach of the Dallas Stars on Thursday.Hitchcock takes over for Lindy Ruff, who was not offered an extension to his expiring four-year contract after the Stars failed to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs, one season after they were the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
