The last six years? This is only Subban's fourth season. Four seasons ago, Nicklas Lidstrom put up 62 points while remaining one of the most reliable defenders in the game. Subban is good, but PPP's articles are getting wonky...

Well, he is the best defenseman currently playing.

Byfuglien and Karlsson are playing at or even slightly above his level.

Subban's a beast everywhere. Better defensively while still putting up points and now Therrien put him on the PK.
