  • Game 3: Senators @ Rangers | 2017 Playoffs

    - Sens lead the series 2-0 for only the second time in franchise history. The other time, the Sens went on to take a 3-0 series lead in Game 3 (1-0 win vs BUF)

    - Both Anderson and Lundqvist had subpar games after playing lights out in Game 1. Expect that to change.

    - Rangers haven't found much success at MSG this season. Road teams are 30-23 in the playoffs this season.

    - MacArthur will play tonight

Sens also made the Cup Finals that season!

Andy always bounces back from bad games. He'll be in beast mode tonight.

    Great news about Grizz!

Yup. I actually went to Game 3 against Buffalo that year. I can still remember the goal - Spezza with a feed to Heatley which went wide, but off the boards to Alfie who tapped it into the open net. I thought it was a good representation of the three of them - Spezza with the perfect pass, Heatley with the deadly one-timer and Alfredsson in the dirty areas.

Anderson fucking leaves the net again for no reason and the Rangers capitalize. 2-0.

I think I'd prefer losing posession a few times a game than seeing Anderson come out of his net ever

His weaknesses are puck handling and wraparounds.. a pretty deadly combination when he leaves the net.

Smith is injured. Huge loss if it's long term.

I can't believe Harpur is still in the lineup. He's been getting exposed in this series. Wideman should get a chance back in the lineup.

Yeah, I was liking his play vs Boston but he's been terrible tonight. The whole team has been pretty bad other than EK.

Oh well, it's the Sens - our chances to win are probably higher being down by two after the first than they would be if we were up by two..

                            4-1 Rangers. Pageau from Ryan

Bring back Wideman. Looking at the shot map, the Rangers got all their looks from inside the circle to Andy's right hand side. Brandon and Josh were bang on.
