One rumour that popped up today was strong word of a deal being worked on that'd send Galchenyuk + 1st to Tampa Bay for Jonathan Drouin.

Some more rumours:

Jonas Brodin has been linked to the Boston Bruins. The Wild don't have a 1st round pick and Sweeney is reportedly willing to trade his 1st.

Mike Smith is linked to the Flames, Jets and Flyers as they need a starting goaltender.

There's speculation that the Kings activating D Matt Greene to buy him out is to make room to acquire Evander Kane.

Sami Vatanen is the odd man out on the blue line in Anaheim.

And in some confirmed news, the Philadelphia Flyers have told Steve Mason's agent that they'll be moving on this summer so Mason will be hitting UFA.

That would be too much for Montreal to pay in my opinion. I actually think I like Galchenyuk more than Drouin and that Tampa should be the ones adding.

Damn. I'd like Brodin to stay in the West. And particularly, out of the Atlantic.

Kane to LA would be a fun spiral to watch.

Vatanen has to be a sure bet to go to Vegas then. If McPhee gets a chance at him and doesn't go for it I'll be incredibly surprised.

I still think Mason has it in him to be a very good goaltender if he finds the right fit.

The goalie carousel really intrigues me this year. Dallas have 3, Vegas have 0 (so far), Philly have 2 that they don't trust clearly. Who's getting #1 spot in Winnipeg? Do they trust their young kids at the risk of missing the playoffs AGAIN?

Sens and Leafs both need backups, will they just re-sign the ones they have or go elsewhere?
