Sens lost 3-0. They dominated the 1st, although it was more even in the 2nd/3rd.

Karlsson was probably the best player, although he wasn’t in game shape and it was noticeable.

I find Ceci had a really good game. I don't often say this, but he was making smart decisions and stifling a lot of Vancouver's chances.

If anything, he tried to do too much. I know Karlsson is fast, but he was paired with Phaneuf, then Oduya, and both of them looked trapped in molasses next to him. I also thought Ceci had a decent game, as did Wideman.

Friggen Vanek, he's a Sens killer, always has been. That could have been 2-1 and then at the other end it's 3-0, also off the post. Some nights you just don't have it.

I want to see Karlsson with Claesson. I could see Claesson becoming a Methot-level defenseman sooner than later. A little worse defensively, but better offensively.

Agreed. I think they should be partners until Chabot is fully ready. I like your Methot comparison, and I’d add that Claesson seems to have a bit more of a mean streak to him. Methot could definitely deliver though.

It's great that Chabot is getting big minutes in the AHL, but I feel like he's NHL-ready. He really improved the power play, he made plays, he looked really good from what I saw. He's better than some in our current lineup, but I understand and respect what management is doing.
