I'm not sure what to expect. Winnipeg is having a great year and has been hot lately, and the Sens are due for another win.

Agreed. You probably don’t wanna fire Boucher after he took us to the Conference Finals, plus we’re on a new coach every second year lol. Already made a big trade. I’m interested to see what they’ll do.

This is as bad as I've seen the Sens play since Paddock/Clouston.circa 2009. What an absolute dumpster fire of a game. Everyone (except maybe Mark Stone) should be ashamed of themselves.

Can someone please take Cody Ceci round back and put him out of his misery?

I for one thought that having Ceci and Oduya on the ice at the same time would lead to goals FOR as opposed to against. Not.

Lost in all of this is that Andy posted a 27-save shutout in relief so do with that what you will.

I wonder how much longer this team can just ride out the status quo. I really don't see Dorion or Boucher losing their jobs. I don't think there are any pieces worth shipping off and I think if there was a trade to be made it would have happened by now. I can see something stupid and superficial like taking the 'C' away from CKarlsson although it amounts to nothing except posturing. My one thought on keeping all the good young talent in Belleville is that at the organization wants to establish their brand and they can't do that if Chabot, White, and Chlapik are all playing with Ottawa. Mostly this is a dumpster fire like Matt said.

Well Condon also had a shutout through half a game Friday and that didn't seem to help much...

Last year we had depth at forward and above average goaltending, as well as Karlsson playing on another level of consciousness. I mean just look at our forwards now?!

                OUT
Wingels, Stalberg, MacArthur, Turris, Bobby Ryan PRO 30 day trial Playoff Edition (tm)

                IN
Nate friggin Thompson, Duchene, Bobby Ryan LITE Standard Edition (tm) - freemium's a bitch lol.

When are we allowed to start talking about Karlsson? He's not the same, hasn't scored even a point in weeks. Is he still hurt?

Free trial period for franken-ankle was only 30 days. Melnyk not willing to pay for licence.

Seriously though, maybe he needs to go on a conditioning stint or something. He's way off and the team is losing these games with or without him. Just put him on IR already.

                  PLAYOFFS?!

EDIT: Also, and I'm really not used to saying negative things about the king, how is Karlsson the early favourite to represent Ottawa at the all-star game?! Is there any doubt that Stone has been the best player on this team consistently for 25 games? Not only is he the best on the team, I cannot name many wingers in the division who have outplayed him. Kucherov is the obvious one. Huberdeau is having a good year so far. I could see a guy like Kane being the token representative for Buffalo.

A lot of people are worried about Karlsson - huge off-season surgery, part of his ankle bone was actually removed, and he doesn't look the same since. And they're right, he doesn't look the same.

However, this is a top-three guy in the league. He faced a similar challenge with his achilles injury and it took him over a year to get right. He's older, more mature now. I expect his play to pick up soon.
