Here is my mock expansion draft, going with BPA. I might do a second one that has more minor league players as that would probably be more realistic. This is basically my version of the very best team they could draft:

Hmmm. Biggest surprise seems to be passing on Gostisbehere.

Well, I ended up with 7 right from each of my two mock drafts, for a total of 8 players.

Calgary - Giordano
Canadiens - Fleury (had him in my "realistic" draft but not BPA because of Price)
Minnesota - Soucy (had him as BPA for value from the Wild but went with Mason Shaw in the realistic draft)
New Jersey - Bastian
Rangers - Blackwell
Tampa - Gourde
Toronto - McCann
Washington - Vanecek

I'm particularly proud of the Nathan Bastian pick as it seemed like a big surprise to a lot of people and I didn't see him on any other lists.

Hmmm. Biggest surprise seems to be passing on Gostisbehere.

Yeah, Seattle went with Carsen Twarynski from Philly instead of Gostisbehere and I'm really not sure why. I'm also not a fan of them picking Fleury over Shattenkirk (Anaheim), Driedger over Gudas (Florida), and especially Quenneville, a goddamn UFA, over Zadorov (Chicago).
