MONTREAL - Montreal Canadiens prospect Tim Bozon, who has been battling meningitis in a Saskatoon hospital, has been placed in an induced coma.
Les Lazaruk, the radio voice of the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades and the sports director for the Saskatoon Media Group, told QMI that Bozon was placed in an induced coma on Thursday.
“His folks have been with him since Sunday,” said Lazaruk. Lazaruk said that he isn’t sure when doctors will try to wake Bozon from the induced coma. “I don’t think that we’ll be getting much more information," he said. Bozon, who plays for the Kootenay Ice, was admitted to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon on March 1.
