  • Tavares doing the right thing!

After reading how Lotocki had to leave the arena with his jersey crumpled up so people wouldn’t see it, Tavares suggested sending the boy a new one, autographed by his favourite player.

*on a side note, it is sad to see adults/teens taking it out on a kid.

I'd say the saddest part of sports fandom has to be the association with knuckledraggers who heckle 11-year-olds or worse: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/02/20/2- ... ryan-stow/

It's difficult for educated people to defend their interest in pro sports for many social, economical, sexual, racial, and political reasons. For every Willie O'Ree, there will be one hundred Todd Bertuzzis.
