I must say, I listen and read a lot of stuff on hockey in general...but this story didn't make a lot of noise. Least I didn't hear about it until my mom mentionned it to me. I was curious so I looked it up. Its a wow story. Had to share.

Wow, that's a crazy story for sure! The only thing I don't get is, how does a pulmonary embolism result from a trip to Vietnam?

Very long flight time to Vietnam in a cramped space (airline seat) with no leg room = perfect conditions to develop a DVT.

It is VERY important to get up and move around, stretch your legs, when on flights longer than a few hours.
