It's hard to put $7M in the press box but if it makes you a better team on the ice you have to do it, and the Wild did it.

Heatley requesting a trade from Ottawa was one of the better things to happen to this franchise. Especially dumping that $7M cap hit for a declining player. And it didn't take long for the results to improve...we went from a bottom ten team in the league to a playoff team.
