Nolan extended

Ted Nolan was named the full-time coach of the Buffalo Sabres on Monday, losing the interim tag he had carried since being hired Nov. 13.

The club did not specify the length of the extension, but multiple media reports place the contract at three years.

Still getting used to the idea of Buffalo having anyone but Lindy Ruff behind the bench.

Buffalo is going to have a great team in a few years and, while I doubt Nolan will still be around when they start getting good, he seems like the perfect fit for where the team is at right now.
