Perron, Turris, Methot & Bieksa at Worlds

  • Perron, Turris, Methot & Bieksa at Worlds

    Edmonton Oilers forward David Perron, Ottawa Senators forward Kyle Turris and defeceman Marc Methot, as well as Vancouver Canucks defenceman Kevin Bieksa have all accepted Hockey Canada's invitation to play at the 2014 World Hockey Championship.

    Oilers forwards Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle have all been asked to join the team and are still determining if they will participate in the tournament.

    Ryan Ellis of the Nashville Predators and Erik Gudbranson of the Florida Panthers were added on defence, while Troy Brouwer and Joel Ward of the Washington Capitals were added at forward.

        Canada vs France right now

        2-2 heading to OT. Da Costa is taking over this game with both goals from France.

          France has upset Canada. 3-2 shootout win. Da Costa the star in this game.

            France beat Russia last year, Canada this. This is their 5th or 6th straight year at the top level. Very impressive.

              Woo Latvia beat Finland! In regulation too! Daugavins played a huge part in the win.
