MacDonald extended 6 years

The Philadelphia Flyers signed defenceman Andrew MacDonald to a six-year, $30 million contract on Tuesday.

The deal carries a cap hit of $5 million per season. MacDonald will earn $4.25 million next year, with escalating values over the following five seasons of $4.5 million, $4.75 million, $5.25 million, $5.5 million, and $5.75 million.
