    In the AHL he has two goals and six points in 18 games, and is a -6. Hard to imagine him playing past this season when he's not even producing like a top six forward in the AHL.

    If I was in his shoes, I think now would be a good time...unless he dreams he can climb his way back up... :roll:

    I guess I don't really hate him any more at all. In fact, in the end we got a better player out of Michalek than what Heatley did for San Jose or Minnesota. But I don't LIKE him, and I don't like the Ducks either, so it's a good fit in my opinion. Better than having him on a team I like anyways..

    Forward Dany Heatley has signed a one-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks, the team announced Wednesday. Financial details were not disclosed but it reportedly is for $1 million, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.
