And wouldn't you know; Hoffman with a great play to Legwand to make it 1-0 Sens. Neil with the other assist.

          2-0 Sens. Karlsson's goal IMO..

Turris' point streak ends at four games. Karlsson is now on a four-game streak though, and MacArthur is on a three-game steak. Legwand and Neil are on two-game streaks. Lehner made 38 saves, several were game-savers. Hoffman had a stellar game and I can't imagine a Universe where he's a healthy scratch next game, which unfortunately isn't until Wednesday vs the Leafs.

                    So far this season...

                    Good:
                    - Turris, who many doubted could do well as a #1C, has four points in five games
                    - Karlsson has four points and seems to motivate the team as captain
                    - Lazar is NHL ready
                    - The goalies are playing awesome, both of them

                    Bad
                    - Bobby Ryan has struggled a little bit (although he's streaky...he could score five in his next five games)
                    - Zibanejad is struggling as well. He's been good on the fore-check but as the #2C he needs to get some points
                    - Michalek seems like a waste of money so far
                    - The defense still has big gaffs

Being 100% honest, I haven't seen all of the games/full games. This is just what I picked out for some. And I realize it's a little pessimistic since we're 4-1. With the problems last year, and not taking two points out of the game, it's a breath of fresh air to see the team taking home two points when we don't play an amazing game.

A tough schedule coming up for the rest of the month with Chicago twice and the Blue Jackets again, so let's hope they can squeeze some points out somewhere in the games.

I agree, Ryan has been underwhelming so far. Still glad we got him locked up though, and the Sens are getting it done anyways, so I'm not too worried at this point. I just hope he isn't nursing an injury..

Looks like he's playing hurt to me.

On the other hand, Hoffman's GWG!!!

I wonder how long before Legwand gets the 2c role with 2 of Ryan, Chiasson, Michalek or Stone?

Ryan and Chiasson, by themselves, are good players but they really do not complement each other on the same line. I still think Ryan should go up to play with Turris and MacArthur and Stone should come down to play with Legwand and Chiasson.

For me, Stone has done nothing to warrant being moved up on the first line.

Matt, I think you need a comma after MacArthur. I had to read that three times to get it properly, lol. I completely agree though; if Z-Bad has a weak game vs Toronto, I think we'll see Legwand start as C2 vs New Jersey. However, the way I'd tweak the lineup would be:

                            16 - 7 - 6
                            68 - 17 - 90
                            27 - 93 - 61
                            9 - 15 - 25
