After each played Saturday, the Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators opted not to hold morning skates Sunday prior to their game at United Center (7 p.m. ET, NHLN-US,TVA,CITY,WGN).

Last year's Sens all over again.

They (i.e. Anderson) kept it close but that doesn't get you any points. The goal we did score was pretty comical, so at least there's that.

Considering there was only one ref to do this game..he sure didn't miss much... ;) That said, wether or not they were all justified, they still got them...way toooo many. You give Chicago 9-10 PP, don't expect to run away with the points.

I'm pretty optimistic. They're playing fast and loose. It's fun to watch and they look like they have an earnest desire to play better defense. The first period in particular was a solid road period against an established western conference team. #atleastthegoaltendingislookingprettysolidsofarfor thesenssoiwillremainpatient
