  • HNIC on City TV

Tonight was probably the 3rd Sens game I watch on City TV..Not impressed with the game coverage. At some point, I thought I was watching Boston's feed.

Well, Rogers controls the games on Sportsnet, City TV, and CBC. They're all just channels showing the game that Sportsnet is producing. I think the coverage on Sportsnet has been disappointing, but it was expected. Thankfully, TSN got the Sens TV rights or we'd be seeing 82 games of that.

Nick Kypreos is a tool....Can't believehe has that much air time..........

.... And yeah, its a good thing TSN is doing the biggest chunk of the Sens game.

        Agreed on all counts.

You have TSN. Stop rubbing it in.

This Rogers deal sucks, their analysts aside from Freidman suck, their commentators and broadcast in general sucks.

TSN didn't pick up any Habs games?

No and RDS only has 22.

City-Montreal airs 80 or 82, but they only have an SD channel here in Ottawa with Rogers, which is dumb, and even then, it's just Sportsnet coverage. It sucks.

I'm just glad I can actually see a Senators game on a Saturday night in Kitchener. It would be even better if Bob Cole could stick to Montreal...I thought the guy this Saturday (didn't catch the guy's name) did a decent job, as did Randorf the week before.

Having said that, I totally agree that Kypreos is a tool, and I skip the intermissions completely.

It's too bad. Saturday nights really aren't what they used to be. I feel lucky to have been part of the generation that got to grow up on the real HNIC.
