$5.75M AAV is very reasonable for Fleury. He's streaky, but this is a good deal for the Pens.

I have to say, I don't share the same opinion as Josh on this one.

Since the Pens won the Cup, he's only had one season where he's put up "great" numbers. This year he's been on a roll...but it's been nine games. The playoffs are a disaster for him. Only one time in the last 5 playoff runs he's been on has he broken the .900SV% mark.

I think it's overpayment, and I think the two should have parted ways.

13th highest cap-hit among goalies seems just about right to me. I'd take him on his contract over Cam Ward, Kari Lehtonen, and Semyon Varlamov - and probably a few other who've got higher hits than Fleury too.
