    Re: Edmonton trade talk

Other than Hall, the player I'd be most interested in from Edmonton is Perron. If they sent back Scrivens, I'd be willing to send Anderson. Something like:

    Perron
    Scrivens
    1st or 2nd

    Anderson
    Wiercioch

I'd much prefer just to send Wiercioch + Greening/Condra for Perron though.

I wouldn't touch our goalie situation. While I think Lehner is a great goalie, I don't think he's ready to be a starter on a consistent basis yet. He's still extremely up-and-down in my eyes. I don't think Scrivens really comes close to helping Lehner or replacing Anderson. Although his team sucks, .888SV% and a career high of 21 starts isn't too appealing (age 28).

Perron isn't a bad player, and I wouldn't mind the Sens trying to get him, but I don't think he has the value to be a centering piece for one of your goalies. I know it's an overused statement, but without Anderson, we're close to the bottom of the league. He's won us at least four games on his own.
