      Re: TSF Keeper League

I don't know what happened to TSF. I tried to get in contact with Kyle on several occasions but for whatever reason it didn't work out. When TSF went down for good, I was actually sad. But I've been learning a ton about domains and DNS lately, so I thought I'd give it a go.

this isn't a type of forum I've seen before but better than nothing!

I think we should wait and see who makes an appearance and possibly contract the league then.

Yeah, I know it doesn't look like much now but I plan to make it as awesome as possible. And I won't abandon it. I'll be happy to include any suggestions you guys have. I don't expect to ever compete with HFBoards, but I made it a hockey forum instead of a Sens forum anyways. Why not? Who knows, maybe in a couple years we'll have a decent user base. There will also be articles. If you check out http://highonhockey.com, I've linked it to Blogger so that once everything else is up and running, those of you who wish to contribute articles will be able to. Having both the articles and the forum should eventually create decent levels of traffic.

It depends on us though - the success of this site/forum will completely depend on the frequency, quality, and quantity of the articles/posts. As my long time Internet friends, I would greatly appreciate anything each of you can do to contribute to this community - and I won't forget your contributions. Let's try to create lots of threads and discussion in the coming weeks, and if any of you are in contact with old members of TSF, or can bring new members over, please do so.

                    Re: TSF Keeper League

As for contracting the league, that's definitely a possibility. It's looking OK so far though:

Lind Lightning - Josh (JoshLind) - IN
British Monarchs - Victor (Alfieforever) - IN
Aussie Stars - Matt the Aussie - IN
St. Johns Maple Leafs - _13_ - IN

That's half the league right there. I'm pretty sure Mike (Rayzor, Carey Price) is coming back, and he's probably still in contact with Brandon and Sara, and I'm sure they'd come over too. So that would add the Montreal Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets. That leaves Choi and Matches. Hopefully they check the league site at some point and find this place. I'm betting they do, but at worst, it looks like we'd contract to 6 teams. If we only get one of Choi or Matches back, maybe Brandon or Sara could take over the missing team.

Re: High on Hockey Keeper League

Yeah the league members are likely the easiest TSFers to retain because we were always the most active. Perhaps you could e-mail any absentees in due course.

There are of course some losses: no idea how we could reach out to other TSF members (Jas, Moe, a few other who popped in) and I don't feel like redoing the prediction league.

The sens NHL board is not doing so well these days, maybe we could go to the less popular boards and see if we can recruit

Hi, I am a friend of Josh. I am providing him with the hosting. I am a full time programmer.

So if this site gets enough attention, I'd be willing to give it some love as well.
