    Game 44: Hurricanes @ Senators, 7pm

    The Sens lost 3-2

    I've never really seen a game like that. The Sens played pretty good, and had a ton of quality scoring chances. They hit a ton of posts, crossbars and got robbed a bunch of times. Carolina didn't get many scoring chances, and two really good bounces go in the net and the Sens lose.

    One goal literally went off Wiercioch, was going wide, bounced off the ice and completely changed direction and went into the net.

    Such a weird game.. Sens honestly deserved that one :/

      Saturday in January, coming off a victory and a day's rest, against Carolina: Sens will find a way to lose. Good thing it wasn't a matinee. The Sens would have been shutout 3-0.

        Even worse would have been a matinee in Raleigh...I can't remember the last time the Sens have won in Carolina...? Always ends up like 4-1 and Patrick Dwyer inevitably has a multi-point game.

          2011-12 season, we won in a shootout.

          If you want a regulation win in Carolina you have to go back to December 2007, where the Sens won 6-0.
